A Morris women’s clothing shop, Oleanders Boutique, is opening a second location in Ottawa . The shop is scheduled to open this fall at 800 LaSalle St., the Montgomery Ward building downtown. In a social media post, Oleanders owner Meg Housman said she knew when she walked into the building, she couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
The longtime vacant space will undergo remodeling this summer. Oleanders has been open in Morris since 2017, selling women’s clothing and accessories and Housman is excited to join downtown Ottawa. “I have always loved Ottawa.
From the beginning, it was at the top of my list when I dreamed about what a second Oleanders location could look like. The charm, the local businesses, the community. It has all the same small-town vibes we love in Morris,” Housman stated in her post.
