The Oregon Lions Club recently made a donation to Miss Ruthie’s Kitchen, an organization at Zion Lutheran Church, to assist the homeless in Rockford.

The Oregon Lions Club recently made a donation to Miss Ruthie’s Kitchen, which is an organization that is at Zion Lutheran Church to assist the homeless in Rockford. Miss Ruthie’s is open on the weekends when Carpenters Place is closed. Miss Ruthie’s serves breakfast and lunch and they also have a closet available for those in need of clothing and or other personal items.

Any group can volunteer to come and cook on Saturdays. For more information on how you can help, contact Miss Ruthie’s Kitchen by emailing ruthieskitchen2018@gmail.com.
