PHOTOS: Berry Fest takes to the streets of downtown Abbotsford Published 9:33 am Monday, July 13, 2026 The annual Berry Fest took place in Abbotsford’s historic downtown core on Saturday, July 11. The event, held in the area of Essendene and Montrose avenues, featured a mix of entertainment, family-friendly activities, food and community fun.

New activities included a Cooldown Corridor, the Reptile Guy, a rock wall and a sports zone. Returning for 2026 were a skate park, face-painting, a photo booth, the Fun Gym Bus, a sensory-friendly calm corner, Berry’s Backyard Games, an artisan market, food trucks, and a beer and wine garden. The event also included a full day of main-stage entertainment, as well as the Great Berry Pie Bake-off and Pie Eating Contest with junior and adult categories.
