One of Sault Ste. Marie's major north-south arteries will be temporarily closed starting Aug. 4. City council passed a bylaw at a meeting last night to close Pine Street between MacDonald Avenue and Garrison Way at the armoury.

One of Sault Ste. Marie's major north-south arteries will be temporarily closed starting Aug. 4.

City council passed a bylaw at a meeting last night to close Pine Street between MacDonald Avenue and Garrison Way at the armoury.

The street is expected to be closed until Oct. 16 to allow a cured-in-place water main lining to be installed by PUC Services Inc. on the Pine Street hill.
