Police seek hit-and-run victim after rear-end crash on Deerfoot Trail Posted Jul 15, 2026 2:29 pm. Calgary police are asking for a driver to come forward after a hit‐and‐run crash on Deerfoot Trail earlier this week. Investigators say the collision happened around 4:15 p.m. on Monday, near the Calf Robe Bridge.
According to police, a silver 2007 Chevrolet Equinox was travelling south on Deerfoot when it rear-ended a white Ford Escape, before speeding off and driving erratically. Police have identified the driver of the Equinox driver, but have not been able to identify the driver who was rear-ended. A photo of the Ford Escape has been released in an effort to identify the victim.
Anyone with details, or dashcam footage of the area at the time of the crash, is asked to contact police at 403‐266‐1234 or reach out anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
