Prices at the pumps increased overnight in both Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Nova Scotia The price of diesel went up by 6.2 cents in the Halifax area following an unscheduled adjustment. The new minimum price is 210.2 cents per litre.

The Nova Scotia Energy Board says the change is due to a “significant shift in the market price.” The price of regular self-serve gasoline did not change. It remains at a minimum price of 183.1 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island On P.E.I., the price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 2.3 cents during a regularly scheduled Tuesday adjustment. Islanders are now paying a minimum price of 189.6 cents per litre.
