Five-week drop-in program at local library aims to build early literacy in ages 3-4

Children aged 3-4 and their caregivers are invited to drop in to the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library on Wednesdays beginning July 15 for a five-week program including stories, crafts and activities that support emerging reading skills. Parents and caregivers will be able to gather resources and also check out books to encourage strategies for reading success. When: Wednesdays: July 15 – Aug, 12, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information call 705-759-5241.
