Butterfield Road between Kirk and Raddant roads in Aurora was expected to be shut down for several hours after what police called a “serious injury” crash.

Butterfield Road between Kirk and Raddant roads in Aurora was expected to be shut down for several hours after what police called a “serious injury” crash. Aurora Police posted at about 5:30 a.m. Sunday about the road closure, saying the crash happened at the intersection of Butterfield and Church roads. Authorities said it could take hours to complete the investigation and clear the scene and advised people to avoid the area.
