The damage occurred in a residential parkade on Yates Street.

Victoria police say a suspect is facing multiple charges after many vehicles were damaged with a hammer in a residential parkade. Police responded to a call around 4 a.m. on June 11 about a person hitting vehicles with a hammer in the 1200-block of Yates Street. A suspect was located nearby and arrested and has since been charged with 11 counts of mischief, breaking and entering, theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property and breach of probation.

The suspect appeared at a bail hearing on July 12 and was remanded in custody pending another court appearance on Tuesday.
