Take a Fresh Look at the Taste of Heaven Thousand Generation and Chromatic Dream have unveiled a fresh look at Taste of Heaven during the Secret Sauce Showcase, introducing six romanceable characters that players will be able to meet when the fantasy cooking RPG launches in Steam Early Access in early 2027. The latest trailer focuses on one of the game’s most anticipated features: romance. Players will have the chance to build friendships or pursue relationships with a diverse cast of characters, ranging from divine spirits carrying centuries of emotional baggage to wandering souls searching for companionship.

Between runs, they’ll gather resources to build and expand a peaceful ryokan inside a giant fish, welcome travelers, and unlock new opportunities. The game also features a hand-crafted 2D world inspired by classic fantasy animation, where players can explore vibrant locations, collect ingredients, discover random events, and reveal the mysteries of the afterlife. With its charming art style, unique cooking mechanics, and relationship-driven storytelling, Taste of Heaven seems like it will be a distinctive indie RPG that will be coming out in Early 2027.
