Teddy Bear Picnic features kid-friendly activities and a chance to connect with organizations and businesses that support families.
It’s almost time to take those teddy bears out to play. The 23rd annual Teddy Bear Picnic will take place on Tuesday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the green space between the Okotoks Recreation Centre and Percy Pegler School. Hosted by the McMan Family Resource Network-Okotoks, the event offers families a chance to enjoy a picnic with their teddy bears while connecting with local organizations and businesses that support family well-being.
The picnic’s goal is to create a welcoming and playful atmosphere that showcases the incredible partnerships that help make Okotoks such a vibrant and inclusive town. This year, organizers aim to continue to enhance the event by adding engaging, family-friendly activities that promote connection and community spirit. Upwards of a dozen community organizations are expected to be on hand to share information and resources with parents, while teddy bear-themed activities and more will keep kids busy.
