Victoria Police are investigating after a hit-and-run crash that injured a cyclist early Tuesday afternoon. The crash occurred in the 1000 block of Caledonia Avenue around 12:20 p.m. “Officers have learned a cyclist was travelling west on Caledonia Avenue and was struck by a dark coloured SUV.”
The driver, reportedly a man, did not remain at the scene and was last seen driving west on Caledonia Avenue. Meanwhile, the cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to VicPD. Police are now asking for any witnesses or anyone with video of the area to speak with investigators.
