Recently, the provincial government raised concerns about unauthorized use of health care numbers. Why, then, are they putting these numbers into the public domain by printing them on a driver’s licence? After any fender-bender, drivers are advised to share drivers’ licences.

These days, most use their phones to capture the information. Therefore, the other driver then has permanent access to your health care number. Talk about an invasion of privacy!

The Roberts Bank is a shallow wetlands that is already stressing out the environment there. Another deep-water physical port needs to be constructed at least eight miles out into the ocean to accommodate VLCC oil tankers. Almost everyone in Greater Vancouver is adamantly opposed to the port and pipeline at this location.
