A woman was sent to hospital on Monday with a potential gunshot wound. Emergency crews were called to the 300 block of Third Street S.E. just before 5 a.m. A spokesperson for Calgary EMS says they treated an adult patient who appeared to have been shot.
Paramedics transported the patient to hospital in serious, non-life-threatening condition. Anyone with information on the incident can call police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers .
