All The Black Couples On The Red Carpet At The 2026 ESPY Awards

Athletes ditched their uniforms to put on their finest threads with their partners by their side. See which Black couples made ESPY night date night this year.

On Wednesday, July 16, the who’s who of sports convened upon the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City to celebrate the last year of athletic greatness at the 2026 ESPY Awards . From the New York Knicks winning the NBA championship (they took home Best Championship Performance and Best Team with their leader, Jalen Brunson, at the forefront) to Stephen Curry being awarded the Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award for all of his philanthropy work, anyone who lifted a trophy this year, or up lifted the community using their platform as an athlete, was honored on the big stage.

To give the night the star power it deserved, stars hit the carpet decked out in their best looks—and with their best boos. No jerseys, no cleats. Just formal and fly.
