Almost every Google Pixel 11 model appears on FCC website

Following a pretty big retail leak, the Pixel 11 series appears in listings on the FCC’s website as Google’s launch closes in. According to Droid Life, the FCC website recently published certification listings for five new Pixel 11 devices. The names we know the phones by don’t appear in Google’s documentation, for good reason.

It can be assumed that the listed GPQQ7, GUJ0N, G7SWN, GBC0H, and G4HCD refer to the Google Pixel 11 series as a whole, excluding the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Droid Life notes that the foldable carries a different model number. It can’t be said with certainty which model numbers refer to which Pixel 11 variants in the listings.

We’re expecting to see three individual standard models launched – the Google Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL – alongside one Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The documentation does allow for some differentiation between the listed models. Under the network bands section, the FCC notes that three of the five devices will be equipped with UWB and Thread capabilities.

That’s in addition to the standard 5G support with 5G mmWave and satellite connectivity. Two devices don’t carry Thread and UWB functionality. It’s likely that those two are the Pixel 11 or some variant of the base model, as the Pixel 10 Pro has UWB.

The Pixel 11 FCC listing also notes that these devices will be equipped with a MediaTek modem, which is a deviation from the Exynos units we’ve seen. The change was expected as early as last year, when Google was reportedly testing MediaTek modems for the Tensor G6 SoC. It looks like that report is a little more credible as the phones get closer to going public.

Beyond simple model numbers and network information, there isn’t too much to glean from Google’s FCC filings. This comes as recent leaks surfaced from a retailer selling the Pixel 11. The leaks show off some of the new colorways in the three models.

The Pixel 11 series is expected to launch on August 11.
