Surrey Fusion Festival, the largest free multicultural festival in British Columbia, is returning to Metro Vancouver this weekend, and you’d better bring an appetite. Explore them all to discover traditions from around the world that bring people together and build bridges between cultures. The list of local, national, and international artists will be a hit with fans of all music genres. Highlights include 54-40, Kulwinder Billa, and FIONN. Attendees will be treated to dance performances, children’s entertainment, workshops, and amusement rides. Of course, there will be tons of delicious food to choose from during this year’s event. Each cultural pavilion will serve up a dish from its representative country, from jerk chicken wings to bannock and fried pork dumplings. Make sure to save room for chicken tikka with naan, sweet crepes, and gelato. There will also be a beer garden serving up international beverages on site. Surrey Fusion Fest will also feature an Indigenous Village and marketplace, and the return of the popular Cultural Cooking Arena.
