Big Valley Street Festival draws over 450 to Main Street

Seventh annual event features 39 car show entries, live music, market vendors and pioneer games

Big Valley Street Festival draws over 450 to Main Street Published 4:58 pm Thursday, July 16, 2026 The Big Valley Street Festival returned on July 11 for its seventh edition. Over 450 participants enjoyed live music, 14 market vendors, a car show, pioneer games and the annual Musical Cup game.

Car buffs took in a car show with 39 entries. The first-place car was a 1965 Ford T-Bird. A 1968 Dodge R/T Coronet took second, while a Chevrolet K5 Blazer took third place.

The Judge’s Choice went to a 1979 Chevy C10 half-ton. In addition to the community’s unique shops, 14 market vendors were on hand to offer a variety of items. This year, the vendors were set up along Main Street.

Food vendors were also on hand, with approximately 400 hamburgers and 160 gourmet hot dogs served. Singer-songwriter Presley Battle returned to the Big Valley Street Festival stage, Rockin’ Robbie entertained the crowds, and as the evening wore on, Bottle Rock-It took to the stage as well, keeping the energy going with its range of country and classic rock. The Big Valley Inn provided a beer garden setup near the stage.

Plenty of tables and chairs were available outside of the boundary as well for people to visit and enjoy the warm weather. The grand prize basket of goodies for the winner of the Musical Cup game was also provided by the inn. Organizers credit the success of the event to the amazing volunteers and are appreciative of the community support.
