Corus Entertainment is laying off staff at Global News and Corus Radio. “To be clear, Corus is maintaining local news delivery in Calgary and Edmonton,” said the Corus representative. “While some roles have been impacted as we centralize production, we are adding additional roles to continue providing news programming in these markets.” These cuts come amid declining revenues for the company, which led it to cut between 35 and 46 news jobs late last year.
