Police said a westbound cyclist was hit by a dark-coloured SUV about 12:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000-block of Caledonia.

Victoria police are seeking witnesses and video after a cyclist was hurt in a hit-and-run incident on Tuesday afternoon. The cyclist was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said a westbound cyclist was hit by a dark-coloured SUV about 12:20 p.m. in the 1000-block of Caledonia Avenue.

The male driver did not remain at the scene and was last spotted going west on Caledonia. Anyone with information who has not yet spoken to police or who has dashcam footage is asked to call Victoria police at 250-995-7654, extension 1.
