Dan Lepien Band to perform at Mt. Morris Jamboree on July 26

The Mt. Morris Jamboree recently announced the debut performance of Nashville recording artist Dan Lepien and his band on July 26 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Nashville recording artist Dan Lepien and his band will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. July 26 at the Mt. Morris Jamboree. Lepien, hailing from Sauk City, Wisconsin, is a fully independent artist carrying the torch for traditional country music. Known for well-crafted songwriting and an authentic sound often compared to country legends, he has built a loyal following in the Midwest.

His debut album “The Honky Tonk Traditional” (2025) earned critical acclaim, including an 8/10 rating from “Saving Country Music.” He also received “Entertainer of the Year” and “Male Vocalist of the Year” wins at the 2025 Midwest CMO Awards and has shared stages with Brooks & Dunn, Clint Black, John Anderson, Shenandoah and many more. His three CDs are filled with original material, with Nashville Cats backing him up.

The band with him for the Jamboree include Emily Sobacki on fiddle, Matt Vollmer playing bass, Andrew Lynch behind the drums and Kenny Jones picking guitar. Concessions for the evening will be provided by the Mt. Morris Public Library, which will be serving Julie’s famous Italian sausages, hot dogs, chips and water starting around 5 p.m. Ewe and Me Acres will have a fresh produce stand with a variety of fruits, vegetables, baked goods, jams, jellies and dog treats on the campus along with other craft and plant vendors from 4-8 p.m.

Bill’s Famous Lemonade as well as popcorn girls Emmie and Lily from the Mt. Morris Senior & Community Center will likely be serving fresh popcorn uptown, too. The Encore Art Gallery and the Mt. Morris Historical Museum will be open during concerts on the campus as well.
