Logger sports in the Inner Harbour Those who still pine for Vancouver Island’s legendary logger sports event, All Sooke Days, will find some solace in Red Bull Log Drivers Canada, which rolls into the Inner Harbour on Saturday. The event will see participants run across a floating course constructed of logs staged in an obstacle course format. The water-based competition begins with timed trials from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The fastest 64 participants who don’t end up in the ocean will advance to the main event, which runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Oak Bay car show The annual Oak Bay Collector Car Festival will showcase up to 300 cars on Oak Bay Avenue and surrounding streets on Sunday, with thousands of onlookers expected to attend. One of the municipality’s most popular events, the 26th edition will attract makes and vintages of all kinds, from exotic to everyday rides. The public can attend from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Restaurants in the area will be open during the event, with food trucks on site behind Oak Bay municipal hall.

Bootylicious Boutique will also have accessories, shoes, handbags, and jewelry for sale, in addition to plus-size clothing. Organizers are offering a welcoming and inclusive space for shoppers and sellers alike. Cameron Bandshell concert by The Choirs YYJ A free performance by The Choirs YYJ is set for Sunday afternoon at Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park. The concert runs from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. and features non-auditioned ensembles The Choir, The Chorus, and Sound Dragon, which feature singers of all ages, genders, experiences, vocal abilities and musical tastes. The performance is part of the City of Victoria’s summer concerts series at the Cameron Bandshell that run Friday through Monday each week until Labour Day.

Robin Hood opera at the Baumann Centre Pacific Opera Victoria opens its youth summer performance program with a Friday performance of Robin Hood at the Baumann Centre. Featuring both professional artists and young upstarts ages 18 and under, the hour-long opera by Ben Moore and Kelley Rourke features Robin Hood and other characters fans know and love from the nature-themed tale, including Sheriff, Scarlet, Scout and Marion.

The art installation Trees: Celebrating Gaia will be staged in the lower lobby of the venue, with images by Blair Ketcheson and Frances Litman. The performance schedule runs Friday (at 4 p.m.), Saturday (at 12:30 p.m.) and Sunday (12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.). Tickets start at $15.
