Article content The members of Gallery 121 are delighted to invite you to their Summer Show, featuring guest artists Liz Schell and Claudia MacDonald, along with featured member artist Elizabeth Dinkel. Elizabeth Dinkel is an outstanding portrait artist whose skills have developed through formal study and exhibition experience. She studied figurative drawing at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy as well as in schools in Ontario.

Her work, which includes people, animals, and landscapes (many of which are commissioned) reflect a unique ability to capture both the human figure and the natural world with passion and realism. Recommended Videos Liz Schell has been a popular featured artist at Gallery 121, drawing returning collectors to view her newest work. Whether showcasing a distinctive jewelry piece, an acrylic painting, or one of her well-known handmade artist dolls, Liz’s work conveys joy, craftsmanship, close attention to detail and often a little bling and jazz!

Claudia MacDonald’s acrylic landscapes are filled with motion and colour, reflecting art that come from the heart. Her focus is on both feeling and representation. Movement, and form seem to emerge organically and invites viewers to bring an emotional interpretation to each piece.

Her paintings, often focus on calming nature scenes that bring sky, sea, and sand together in a quiet peace felt by the viewer. Please join us July 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. for a reception with these artists and the Members of Gallery 121.
