The Google Contacts app is an easy way to get the details on all of the contacts that are stored in your phone, but one thing it’s been lacking forever is something like a your info card with your personal information. The latest version of the app has now been updated to include a Your Info card, rectifying the problem that many users have likely had with the app for quite some time: The ability to easily find and share your phone number and other relevant details that you might want to pass to someone else.

The Your Info card is easily viewable from within both the Contacts app itself, and within the Phone app (which is where the Pixel 11a codename was recently referenced), which has a link to Contacts when you tap the ‘Your Contacts’ button inside that app. This is a feature that’s been available on iOS for a while. If you’re going straight to the Contacts app itself, finding the card with your own number and other details couldn’t be simpler. Upon launching the app, you’ll see a ‘Your Info’ card at the very top of the list. There’s the search bard, an ‘All Contacts’ dropdown menu, and then your card with your name and other details.

To the very right of the card there’s also a share button to easily share this information with another person or multiple people. Tapping on the card will reveal your mobile phone number and email address, as well as any other phone numbers you have associated with your personal information. Such as a home phone or additional mobile phone numbers.

When you opt to share this information with another person, you can check boxes for everything you want to share as well. Making it quite simple to pick and choose what’s being shared. This change is part of the latest update, so everyone should see it when opening the app.
