The Martock & Smokey Sessions are billed as intimate outdoor songwriters’ circle concerts. Download the CTV News App for breaking news alerts and video on all the top stories Martock Sessions will kick things off on July 30 in Windsor, N.S., and then the series heads to Cape Breton for the Smokey Sessions on Aug. 2 in Ingonish, N.S.

Both concerts will feature Lennie Gallant, Terra Spencer, Asif Illyas, and Nick Van Eede, front man of Cutting Crew. Gordie Sampson will join the lineup for Martock Sessions, and Joel Plaskett and The Town Heroes take part in Smokey Sessions. “East Peak is beyond excited to offer two up-close and personal Songwriters’ Circle concerts with beloved East Coast artists performing their songs and telling their stories,” said Martin Kejval, CEO of East Peak, in a news release.
