Developer Milestone has revealed that its upcoming racing game Hot Wheels Infinite Rush will now launch a little earlier than previously announced.
Xbox players will be able to get their hands on the Hot Wheels Infinite Rush achievements about two weeks early, as Milestone has now moved up the game's release date from September 24 to September 10 (early access players can get involved on September 7). Milestone hasn't given a reason for bringing the game's release date forward, but it's not exactly hard to figure out why. September and October are absolutely stacked with new game releases, all looking to avoid Grand Theft Auto 6 in November.
On September 24, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush's original release date, both Control Resonant and Silent Hill: Townfall are set to launch, so you can kind of see why Milestone doesn't fancy going head-to-head with those two juggernauts. https://youtu.be/il5mmbk55j4?si=8-E_eW7FshL-e0Pt Hot Wheels Infinite Rush drops players into a die-cast scale world and allows you to freely explore four different islands, each with its own unique look, races, activities, collectibles, and obstacles.
The open-world racing game features over 150 vehicles to discover and collect, including some of the most iconic Hot Wheels available, a track builder so you can build tracks in the world around you, and both split-screen and online multiplayer. Are you looking forward to checking out Hot Wheels Infinite Rush when it launches for Xbox Series X|S on September 10? Let us know down in the comments.
