Manitoba RCMP says a man is dead and a woman is in hospital following a single vehicle rollover collision on Saturday. Around 5 a.m. on July 11, Mounties responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover on North Shore Road in Sagkeeng First Nation. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman and a man lying on the road with serious injuries.

Both were taken to a hospital in Winnipeg. The man — a 30-year-old from Sagkeeng First Nation — died from his injuries on July 13, while the woman — a 19-year-old from Sagkeeng First Nation — remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries. Through initial stages of an investigation, it is believed that the SUV the two were in was being driven on North Shore Road when it left the roadway and tumbled into the ditch.
