Over the past week, the boards were installed on four roads, including two school zones. Meadows Drive, Tuc-el-Nuit Drive, Lakeside Drive (school zone), and Fairview Road (school zone) now have the speed deterrent technology.

"These new speed reader boards are intended to increase driver awareness of vehicle speeds on these roadways and help support safer travel throughout our community," reads a town social media post. The boards were 100 per cent funded by ICBC's Road Safety Improvement Program.
