Ladner Trunk Road is closed between 96 Street and Highway 91

A collision involving four vehicles on Ladner Trunk Road has resulted in one death and five people taken to hospital. Delta Police Staff Sgt. Mike Whiteley said the crash was reported in the 9800-block of Ladner Trunk Road just after 3 p.m. Wednesday.

“Four vehicles were involved, with multiple occupants,” Whiteley said. “Five people were transported to hospital with injuries. Sadly, despite the lifesaving efforts of first responders, one adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene.”

Ladner Trunk Road is closed between 96 Street and Highway 91 and is expected to remain closed for several hours as police investigate.
