Dear Editor, Yesterday afternoon, I was on my way to church. I came to a four-way stop intersection. I stopped and viewed the entire way forward.

All clear. I went ahead and I was about a third of the way through the intersection when totally out of the blue an e-scooter driven by a kid of about ten years went straight non-stop through the intersection, right across my path. No collision, Nobody hurt.

Maybe because I’m obsessively cautious. SOMEBODY WILL BE INJURED OR KILLED IF THINGS CONTINUE ON THIS PATH. My message to parents.

Please educate your kids. Teachers please start teaching common sense rules of behaviour. Police please start enforcing the simple rules.

I attach a recent clip from Dublin, Ireland on this . Hopefully, Saugeen Shores does not get to this point before it learns the lesson. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIb9mCiAtk8 Gerard Walsh Port elgin
