“I was watching T.V. when I heard a big bang. I looked out my kitchen window and I saw that there was a motorcycle on fire,” he told The Nugget while standing watching North Bay Fire and Emergency Services clean-up the scene. “Some guy was standing beside the motorcycle and trying to throw a pot of water at it, which didn’t do anything.

The whole motorbike was engulfed, that led to the shed and that led to the trees.” Alan said within minutes the fire had spread from the motorcycle to the nearby shed to the trees. “The flames were high, like really high.”

He said luckily everyone is O.K. and damage is minimal. “If the fire department hadn’t got here fast enough and all those trees back there would have caught on fire, as dry as it is now, it could have burnt the neighbourhood down.”
