Indo-Canadian Voice Surrey Police investigate damage to nine vehicles in Newton posted by: Rattan Mall SURREY Police Service (SPS) is investigating an early morning incident on Wednesday that resulted in damage to nine vehicles in a Newton neighbourhood. On July 15 at approximately 5 a.m., police were called to the area of 75 Avenue and 147A Street regarding an in-progress mischief, where two suspects were observed breaking windows of vehicles that were parked near the roadway. Several SPS units responded to the area, but the suspects fled prior to police arrival.

In total, nine vehicles sustained glass damage to front, rear and side windows. SPS investigators have obtained CCTV footage and are hoping that the release of still images will assist in the identification of the suspects (see images). The suspects appear to be males with slim builds, wearing dark clothing, and using clubs or bats to damage the vehicles.
