Surrey Police seek help identifying suspects in car vandalism spree Published 9:13 am Thursday, July 16, 2026 Police in Surrey are looking for two suspects who broke the windows on nine cars parked on a street in Surrey’s Newton neighbourhood early Wednesday morning. Officers responded to a call at around 5 a.m. Wednesday (July 15) about an “in-process mischief” where the suspects were seen breaking windows of vehicles parked on the road. The suspects had fled by the time officers arrived, but police found that the glass on nine vehicles had been damaged in either the front, rear and/or side windows.

Investigators have released photos from CCTV footage in hopes that it will help identify the suspects. The suspects appear to be males with slim builds, wearing dark clothing and using a bat or club to damage the vehicles. Anyone who recognizes these suspects or has information concerning this incident, including dashcam footage, is asked to please call Surrey Police Service at 604-599-0502 and quote file 26-73430 (SP).
