The councils ensure TICO’s work continues to reflect the evolving needs of both consumers and the industry, says CEO Richard Smart

TORONTO — TICO has named the new and returning members for its Consumer Advisory Council (CAC) and Industry Advisory Council (IAC). The news comes following TICO’s recent recruitment and selection process. “We are pleased to welcome our newest council members and look forward to the perspectives they will bring to our discussions,” said Richard Smart, CEO, TICO.

“The councils play an important role in helping us better understand the issues and trends shaping Ontario’s travel marketplace, ensuring our work continues to reflect the evolving needs of both consumers and the industry.” Smart said the CAC and IAC bring together diverse voices from consumers and the travel industry to help inform TICO’s work in protecting consumers and supporting a strong, competitive travel marketplace in Ontario.
