Rocky View County (RVC) is once again throwing a celebration of the people, places, and community spirit that make the area such a special place to reside. People are invited to County Hall, located at 262075 Rocky View Drive, Balzac, on Wednesday, July 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for their 6th Annual Residents' Day. "Many people interact with County services every day without realizing the number of people and programs working behind the scenes," RVC said in a statement submitted to the Rocky View Weekly about the upcoming event.

"Residents' Day offers a unique opportunity to meet the staff who maintain our roads, respond to emergencies, support agriculture, plan communities, and deliver so many other services." Attendees will find a complimentary breakfast, children’s activities, a petting zoo, bouncy houses, and interactive displays featuring County services, emergency services vehicles and equipment. A variety of local vendors will also be on site, showcasing some of the businesses and entrepreneurs from RVC.

"Whether someone has lived here for generations or has recently moved to the County, it's an opportunity to spend time with neighbours and family, and experience everything from local businesses and agriculture to the County services that help keep our communities thriving," the County added.
