The Fredericton Pride Parade brought out thousands of people to the city’s downtown core on Saturday. Antoinette Del Vasto, a co-chair for Fierté Fredericton Pride, estimated 2,500 people took in the parade which began at Officers’ Square and included a block of Queen and King Street. “I’m thrilled with the engagement we’ve seen from the community today,” said Del Vasto, calling it one of the larger parade gatherings in recent years.
