The Canada Border Services Agency will adjust opening and closing times at nine land ports of entry in British Columbia to maintain alignment with neighbouring U.S. ports of entry.

The changes will take effect at 2:00 a.m. Pacific Time on November 1, 2026, and remain in place until 2:00 a.m. Pacific Time on March 14, 2027, the agency said.

The affected ports are Aldergrove, Carson, Cascade, Chopaka, Fraser, Midway, Nelway, Pleasant Camp and Waneta.

The Canada Border Services Agency provides separate operating hours for travellers and commercial traffic. Schedules vary by location and, in some cases, by day of the week.

The agency says travellers can use an alternate port of entry if a port is unavailable when they need to cross. Emergency services on both sides of the border can cross during an emergency situation.
